Where to Sell Your Jewelry Online

I receive lots of requests from people who want to know the best places to sell jewelry online. Some of you have already put up a website and are disappointed in the lack of traffic and sales. It can be a real challenge getting traffic to an independent website! For this reason, I usually suggest that you go to where there's already established traffic. Two of the best places I've found are:

Ebay

Ebay is still the king of traffic on the internet. Sure, there's competition but if you study the successful sellers, you'll see that Ebay is a viable marketplace for handmade jewelry. Take a look at this seller's Ebay store and auctions. Study how she photographs and presents her jewelry and see how you could present your jewelry in a similar manner. Find other successful jewelry sellers on Ebay and see if you can determine what they're doing that makes them so successful. This is how you learn!

Ebay is a great way to experiment and test your market since you're not commited long term and the listing fees are fairly inexpensive. Don't be afraid to try something new!

This site is an up and coming player in the world of art and craft selling. I've had several of my blog readers write to me and say they've had success on this site.
